It is with great pleasure that we announce the winners of the 2011 ABCOM Bursary: Carissa Lammie and Svetlana Eremenko. Following an application process which included application letters, self-analysis and lengthy interviews, Carissa and Svetlana were selected from what was, once again, a very strong field of applicants. A key mandate of ABCOM is to enhance the media and broadcast community. One of the ways we aim to achieve this is by assisting new talent enter the industry. Each year, ABCOM selects one to three graduating BCIT students to receive full or partial amounts of a $4,000 annual bursary. We offer our sincere thanks and encouragement to all the 2011 bursary applicants. We were most impressed with everyone who applied and look forward to seeing you in the industry in the near the future. |
